We are looking for software for billing optimization for our gynecological practice. We already use practice management software, so additional software development/programming would also be an option.
When treating patients, invoices are created with various invoice items. Occasionally, one or two items are forgotten when calculating the invoice, even though they are a standard part of a particular treatment. Once the invoice has been created, no further items can be added, and it is not possible to issue a supplementary invoice.
I have something similar in mind, similar to when you file your income tax return to the tax office via ELSTER, where “reminder flags pop up” to ensure that all entries are complete. Is there something like this for a doctor's office? In other words, when entering services and diagnoses, AI suggests appropriate billing codes from the relevant catalogs.
My specialist practice treats both public and private patients. If necessary, we would also consider new practice software or management software that is already optimized for billing. This is how I imagine the software would work in a practice consultant. Would it be based on a set of rules?
Two software workstations are planned. We work with MS Windows systems.
