Seeking ERP software or industry-specific solution for a new recycling company

We are planning to build a PET bottle recycling plant with approximately 40 employees in Oman. We are looking for business software to manage the operations of the recycling plant. The software should be tailored to the needs of a recycling company.

Bales of compressed PET bottles (approx. 300–400 kg) are purchased worldwide, received at the receiving area, recorded, and transported to the warehouse by forklifts. The raw material is sorted, shredded (torn and ground), washed several times, and finally processed into flakes (granules). It is not currently planned, but it is possible that these flakes will also be sold. According to plan, the flakes are further processed into PETs, a high-quality (HQ) product. This product is then sold to various customers (e.g., the automotive industry, bottle manufacturers, plastics processing, etc.).

The following complete business software is required:

• Sales, CRM (global purchasing and sales)
• Payroll
• Invoicing, dunning
• Human resources management for approx. 40 employees
• Order processing, warehouse
• Production and recycling stages (work is primarily carried out using German machinery)

Additional requirements include:

• Interface to MS Word, etc.
• Data backup
• Interface language: English, possibly also German
• Support: English, German for users in Oman (2-hour time difference)
• Localization for international use ($, invoices, etc.)

A shift planning system is already in place. The hardware will also be completely new. Approximately 10 software workstations are planned.
