We are a trading and service company (second-hand goods) and are looking for a merchandise management system. Our range of services includes the trade in second-hand goods, purchasing and sales, and services such as transport and labor.

We would like to use new software to achieve more digital processes, with customer orders and invoices only being printed out in isolated cases.

We currently have an order volume of around 500 customer contracts (in paper form) with a total of approx. 4800 items (furniture, clothing, shoes, technology, household goods, etc.) per month to manage using our existing (outdated) merchandise management system. The new software should support us in this.

The software should meet the following requirements:

  • Customer data management
  • Customer and supplier processing
  • Digital order entry, printing if necessary
  • Deadline monitoring for billing and various options for creating quotes
  • Employee management
  • Time tracking for employees, including vacation and absence functions
  • Vehicle management (3 company vehicles)
  • Picking of used goods, possibly also digitally
  • Second-hand calculator or time value determination
  • Label printing
  • Long text printing, for example, for price tags on furniture
  • Cash register function with discount and rebate options, with card payment planned
  • Multiple sales prices and quantities can be entered for each item
  • Product group function
  • Billing function for sold and remaining commission goods
  • Differential taxation and VAT function
  • Invoice creation
  • Monitoring of incoming payments
  • Regarding transfer from the old system, migration - customer data (several thousand addresses) should be retained (if possible), but this is not absolutely necessary, as some inactive accounts have certainly accumulated over the years.

Four to five software workstations are planned. Work will be carried out in an MS Windows system environment.
