We are a global production and trading company for operating materials and are looking for cloud-based smart logistics optimization software to be used at a specific German location.

Imagine you have 1,000 customers and these customers purchase a specific liquid from you in containers. You deliver to these customers by truck or via an external shipping company and are faced with the question every day of how to optimally plan your truck route.

Starting point:

We already have the measuring device that tells us the remaining liquid in containers in our software at 15-minute intervals, and we also know the reorder point in containers. We are looking for a software tool that we can implement in our software to achieve the following:

  • Optimized travel routes taking into account the reorder point
  • Support with route planning calculations
    • Take the reorder point in containers into account (input for tool is guaranteed) – each customer can change their reorder point and adjust it as needed
    • Distance to destination (input is also guaranteed, manually or via Google Maps)
    • Compatibility with our own software

If we are convinced by the integrated tool, we intend to market the software ourselves and act as a reseller. (This could potentially involve 20-60 of our customers per financial year).

The number of software licenses or workstations required is not known; a general license may be possible if necessary.

Based on the specific requirements, the following solutions can be considered:

adiutaByte
ProfiTour®
COGLAS Web WMS
