We are an internationally renowned mechanical engineering company based in northern Germany. On a smaller scale, we are also involved in vehicle construction and manufacture technical equipment. We are looking for a system for creating spare parts catalogs (catalog software) for our main location.

Our catalogs contain a total of six-digit numbers of articles and parts.

We currently use a corresponding editing program and the distribution channels provided there. We create our 3D models with Siemens NX and make them available to other departments via Siemens Teamcenter. These are currently graphically processed by two programs. Additional data (names, parts lists, etc.) are imported from SAP (ERP).

The creation of catalogs should be largely automated based on CAD and SAP data. For the printed paper version of the spare parts catalogs, 2D exploded drawings are currently still used, but the goal for the online catalog should be interactive 3D models.

Our goal for our editors, but also for end customers and dealers, is to achieve a more modern, intuitive interface and article search that is also accessible on mobile devices (iOS, Android). The system should be able to recognize components in photos and display the appropriate articles directly.

The software we are looking for should support the PDF format and be actively connected to the online shop.

We are open to an on-premises or web-based solution (cloud).

Three to four software workstations are planned. (If necessary, read access for end customers and dealers - online shop users - would be added). We work with MS Windows systems.

The software should have the following functions.
