We are a medium-sized manufacturing company (plastics, injection molding) in the automotive supply industry with variant production (small series) and are looking for industry-specific production software or possibly an MES for production planning and control to process work orders.
The software should meet the following requirements:
- It should ensure recording of machine and operating data within our machine park in machine tool manufacturing (die sinking, wire erosion, grinding, milling, turning)
- The IT infrastructure should automatically recognize when the plant is manufacturing and when it is not (distinguishing between setup time and production time) and document this
- Login to PC terminals (touch displays) in the production areas via RFID or DMC (it should be possible to distinguish between “with operator” and “without operator” for production time)
- Automatic parts list recognition
- Archiving of technical drawings must be possible
- Rough and detailed planning of production orders
- Rough and detailed costing of production orders (preliminary costing, concurrent costing, post-calculation)
- Forward and backward scheduling of production orders and conflict management (capacity- and deadline-oriented planning)
- Interface to the Sage Wincarat ERP system must be feasible
- Windows-compatible
- Local or web-based (cloud) – in the latter case, data security must be guaranteed (e.g., data center certified according to German standards)
In the first step, five software workstations are planned, initially only for our two German locations. This can then be expanded to 20 software workstations.
