As part of my work as a management consultant, I am looking for an ERP system for a medium-sized company with 100 employees. This company manufactures, assembles, and distributes cables and cable harnesses.
My client has the following requirements for the system:
Financial accounting
- Document management for scanning all accounting documents
- Reconciliation of receivables and payables with online banking
- Option of custom account assignment
- Interfaces to DATEV and ELSTER
- CRM connection
- Connection to the merchandise management system (if not integrated)
- Currently, a Lexware business solution is being used
CRM
Merchandise management, warehouse, materials
- Quotes, orders, delivery notes, partial delivery notes, invoices
- Assignment of supplier invoices and documents to a customer order or project
- It should be possible to record framework orders over 1 year
- The fluctuating copper price should be recorded as a note for each customer order
- Scanning of goods received in the warehouse
- Scanning of all receipts and assignment to customer orders
- The goal is to be able to assign all related documents such as supplier invoices (purchasing), delivery notes, and other costs to each project or customer order
- Material planning with minimum stock levels and reservations for planned orders (and consideration of material requirements, contracts for framework agreements over 1 year)
- Assigning individual costs or invoices to a customer order
- Logistics and shipping Printing on packaging units - barcode, quantity, item number - and shipping with UPS Worldship and trans-o-flex EasyFLEX
- Merchandise management - currently using a Lexware business solution
Other
- Modular design is convenient
- Windows-compatible
- Optional - integration of contact data into the telephone system (AGFEO) would be conceivable
- Installation to be carried out locally on own servers
- Purchase as a one-time payment, support and updates included
A proprietary PPS system (SQL database) is used in production, which should remain so for the time being. Ate Warehouse and Data Mining would be interesting for the future but not a must.
Approximately 30 software workstations are planned.
A diagram (overview of IT and programs) can be requested from SoftGuide if required.
