We are a globally positioned logistics service provider based in southern Germany specializing in fashion and merchandise, and we are looking for software for forecasting and short-term replenishment planning in the warehouse.
Our problem is that we have two different storage locations. On the one hand, we store goods in high-bay racking and, on the other hand, we store goods in shelving racks, where they are also picked and shipped.
To ensure that we always have the right goods on the shelving/picking area, we have to move replenishments from the high-bay racking or return goods to the high-bay racking to make space on the shelving area. In broad terms, we are looking for software that can support us with forecasts to transport the right goods to and from the high-bay racking.
Support for the just-in-time process would be an advantage. We work in an MS Windows system environment.
Our two warehouses are located in the same building, but are separate. The high-bay warehouse is approximately 15,000 square meters in size. The shelf warehouse is smaller. We handle and stock approximately 50,000 different items.
The number of software workstations has not yet been determined.
