We are a traditional, family-run import company with many years of experience in trading food raw materials from the Far East and Latin America. Our customers include food manufacturers in Germany, Europe, and Latin America, as well as local wholesalers. Our throughput volumes are in the range of full container loads. We are currently still working with an older merchandise management program that was written in the 1990s and has been continuously adapted over the years. However, as this is no longer compatible with the newer Windows operating systems and is also outdated, we are now considering modernization and are looking for a new merchandise management system.

We have the following requirements for the software:

  • Management of purchases (important: recording of batches with assignment of LOT numbers for traceability purposes)
  • Making calls for batches or partial batches
  • Creating calculations
  • Order entry
  • Issuing delivery notes and invoices
  • Replacement of traditional paper files with digital files
  • Uploading of documents such as contracts, analysis certificates, freight documents, etc.
  • Cloud compatibility, so that access is possible anytime, anywhere

Four software workstations are required.
