Hospital seeks BPM software

Our hospital has several hundred beds and employees and is one of several locations in Germany. Our facility is certified according to DIN ISO 9001. All documents and processes are accessible to employees in folder systems on a Microsoft SharePoint interface (intranet). The required documents are assigned using a search function (wiki). I consider a change to this structure to be necessary in view of the 2015 revision. In the future, process-driven document control based on a process map is to be implemented.

The following requirements must be met by the software:

• Definition of roles (Raci) and authorizations (need to know)
• Mapping of the company organization (enterprise architecture)
• Graphical modulation of processes in BPM notation
• Assessment functionality for collecting information and reports
• Reference to applicable documents (policies + resources)
• Linking of objects
• Display of key figures as a dashboard
• Collection and display of information and reports (business warehouse)
• Assigning and tracking measures and tasks (task management)
• Document control using different workflows (three-stage and two-stage system) according to the document hierarchy
• Automated transfer of control features to the footers when printing documents
• Option of collaboration when creating documents
• List, evaluate, graphically display (matrix), and edit risks
• Option to transfer data from other systems (e.g., 3M QS Suite)
• Export files (reports, processes, and evaluations) in common formats (PDF, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Timely implementation
• Runs in Windows environment
