We are a church community in northern Germany and are looking for suitable library software to merge our libraries and digitize them completely. We want to combine several libraries as part of construction work. A central location (library) will be created in a large, converted attic. We currently estimate the inventory to be approximately 13,000 media items (approximately 10,000 books and approximately 3,000 data carriers such as CDs or DVDs).

The software should meet the following requirements:

  • User management
  • Recording of inventory (also from multiple libraries)
  • Search function, e.g., by keywords
  • Loans
  • Easy data entry - barcode scanner
  • Printing of barcodes
  • Recording of library subgroups (departments) - e.g., regional history, novels, children's literature, etc.
  • Reminder system

One to three software workstations are planned. MS Windows systems will be used.
