Cash register system sought for food production machines

We are a manufacturer of food production machines for use in retail stores. Customers are presented with fresh ingredients from which the product can be made on site in four different variations. The core task is now to intelligently combine orders so that each order is not produced individually, but rather the same variations from different groups (essentially tables) can be produced in the same batch. The orders are then reassigned to the individual customers, who can pick up their meals using a pickup slip and a display on the screen.

We are looking for a POS solution for these machines with the following requirements:

• POS system with common interfaces
• Writing or storing POS data in a database in real time
• Optional order allocation system
• Machine control (PLC – programmable logic controller) is currently carried out using a hardware and software solution that will soon be replaced (possibly Siemens).
