Fischer, Knoblauch & Co. (FKC) is a full-service provider of digital learning solutions. Since 1996, FKC has been supporting businesses and public organisations in the design, development and implementation of modern learning and training solutions. Its range of services extends from strategic and pedagogical consultancy, through the production of bespoke e-learning content, to the roll-out and integration of learning management systems.
With its in-house developed nectar LMS, FKC offers a flexible learning platform that enables digital courses, learning pathways, tests, as well as face-to-face and online seminars to be centrally organised, delivered and evaluated. Among other things, the system supports automated learning processes, differentiated role and access control models, seminar management, reporting, social learning, gamification and AI-supported functions. The nectar LMS can be integrated into existing IT, HR and system environments via interfaces and standards such as REST API, SSO, SCORM, LTI and xAPI. In addition to hosting in Germany, operation within the client’s own infrastructure is also possible.
In the area of content production, FKC develops bespoke web-based training courses and other digital learning formats – from high-level and detailed concepts through to scripts, design and technical implementation, right through to the finished learning programme. The portfolio also includes ready-to-use standard web-based training courses, explanatory videos, animations, mobile learning, microlearning, learning journeys and blended learning scenarios. Depending on the learning objective, gamification, serious games, storytelling, 3D, augmented reality, virtual reality and artificial intelligence are also utilised.
Another key focus is on accessible digital learning. FKC advises on the accessible design of learning programmes and develops content in accordance with standards such as WCAG and BITV. The learner area of the nectar LMS has also been tested for accessibility and certified in accordance with BITV 2.0 and EN 301 549. As a framework contract partner of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, FKC also has extensive experience with the requirements of public sector clients.
Strategic consultancy, learning analytics, evaluation and quality assurance round off the range of services. This results in solutions tailored to the objectives, target groups, technical requirements and organisational framework of the respective organisation.
FKC employs just under 100 staff across eight locations. More than ten million learners have used the company’s solutions in over 8,000 projects. More than 100 national and international awards, as well as ISO 9001 and TISAX certification, underline the company’s commitment to quality.
