VIMCAR

The Vimcar logbook is composed of two components, the OBD connector and the software. The OBD plug or the logbook works in cars from year of manufacture 2001 (gasoline) or from 2004 (diesel).

The OBD plug automatically records all journeys of the vehicle and transfers the data by means of integrated SIM card to the Vimcar server (location in Germany), where they are stored.

When a new trip has been recorded, it automatically appears in the app, so that this trip then only needs to be supplemented with the relevant data or details about the trip.

The basic data of each trip (time, date and distance traveled) cannot be edited or deleted and is therefore tamper-proof.

During data export, only the data that is required by law for the proper, tax office-compliant keeping of logbooks is actually taken into account.
