Wholesale and retail company seeks time tracking system with vacation planning

We are a wholesale and retail company and are looking for a time recording system, possibly with a modular structure, which can be expanded later with access controls. Vacation planning should also be included. We have four groups of employees at our location - a total of approximately 45 - that we would like to record:

Group 1: Office workstations (approx. 20), equipped with PCs

Group 2: Market employees (approx. 10), with access to PCs

Group 3: Warehouse and truck drivers (approx. 10), with access to PCs; drivers have mobile tablets

Group 4: Temporary staff, cleaning staff, etc. (approx. 5); cleaning staff do not have access to PCs, others do in some cases

We have the following requirements for the software:

• Recording of arrival and departure times
• Vacation requests
• Creation of groups – depending on affiliation, vacation requests can be approved by the relevant managers; ultimately, all persons should be available in a list as an overview (one large vacation plan)
• Desirable: Transfer of vacations to email program
• Possibly in a second step, access control to certain areas, e.g., via authorizations or times
• Windows-compatible
• It is not necessary to be able to assign times to projects, as only individual persons are assigned to projects
• An interface to payroll accounting is also not necessary

We are at the beginning of our research and open to ideas for the design. A terminal solution as a central clocking-in point for drivers, market employees, and temporary staff may be useful.

Approximately 3-4 software workstations are planned. The software will be used to record the working hours and vacations of approximately 45 employees.
