Medium-sized manufacturing company seeks business intelligence software

We are a medium-sized, internationally active manufacturing company and are looking for a business intelligence system. We currently use a merchandise management system (also PPS), financial accounting, and asset accounting. These are located on an AS/400 (DB2 database).

The software should meet the following requirements:

• Import data from merchandise management, PPS, financial accounting, asset accounting, and CRM
• Prepare data for the management, sales, and purchasing departments, as well as for investors, etc.
• State-of-the-art evaluations
• Possibly flexible forecasts, contribution margin accounting, production planning, budgeting, etc.
• Interface to a DB2 database (AS/400) to evaluate and display operating data (coating machines, cutting machines, and shipping data)
• Installation on a dedicated server only, if possible (depending on requirements)
• Permanently operational (24/7)

With regard to the planning of software workstations, various departments (see above) should have access.
