We are a medium-sized logistics company (freight forwarding, sea freight, import / export, warehousing, customs clearance) in the north of Germany. We are currently planning the introduction or conversion of our individual software to a standard solution for our company.
With approx. 100 employees, we operate two port terminals at our company headquarters and organize worldwide road and rail transports via our operating sites. We also offer a wide range of services relating to fruit, timber, vehicles and general cargo. In addition to the fact that ships can be unloaded at our quayside facilities with the help of our shore cranes and container gantry cranes, our close proximity to container terminals also allows us quick access to containers and customs clearance. Up to now, and for more than 20 years now, we have been working with very sophisticated individual software for our AS/400 System i5 machine.
It would now be desirable to find an adequate standard solution with customization options for us as developers. This could be any platform (Windows, Linux, etc.).
