We are a southern German construction and logistics company in the transport sector and are looking for suitable craftsman software (warehouse management with scheduling). We operate three warehouses with a total of 4,000 to 5,000 square meters of usable space. One of these warehouses is equipped with high racks.

The software should meet the following requirements:

  • Stock levels
  • Display availability
  • Provide information about warning and threshold values
  • Plan logistics with loading lists
  • Weight control Loading
  • Scheduling of materials with delivery dates
  • Standing times and planned pick-up dates
  • Scheduling of personnel, materials, equipment, and vehicles
  • Documentation of loading lists, shortages, etc.
  • Documentation of equipment and materials that are brought to construction sites and used and that “come back” after completion of the construction project
  • Manage work orders
  • Charge orders for materials and equipment, as a kind of rental, etc.
  • Multi-warehouse capable
  • An interface to SAP is not planned
  • Local installation or web-based

We plan to install an RFID chip system for a mobile warehouse with a geofence for the construction site area. This will allow us to automatically record how much material is actually in use on a construction site and how much is returned from there.

Five to ten software workstations are planned. We work with MS Windows systems. The smartphones run on Android.

Based on the specific requirements, the following solutions can be considered:

EPG - LFS
Odoo Enterprise
