Program Description:

KLUSA is an enterprise project management solution for the company-wide planning, management and evaluation of many projects, several project types and project portfolios. KLUSA supports the entire cycle from strategic project portfolio planning, through individual project management, to final cost management.

KLUSA offers comprehensive functionalities:

KLUSA Portfolio Management

In the Portfolio Management module, project portfolios can be created, maintained and evaluated. Scenario analyses can also be carried out on these portfolios.

The aims of Portfolio Management are:

  • To identify from ongoing and planned projects those which can and should be implemented in view of a given time frame, budget and capacity of available resources
  • To be able to view the progress and status of a portfolio at any time in an overview
  • To check the effects of adjustments in the scenario analysis
  • To create transparent and comprehensible decision-making aids for projects to be started or cancelled
  • Bundling of project plans (ideas, demands), projects and project variants in project portfolios
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluation of portfolio elements
  • Creation of planning scenarios for each portfolio to determine the aggregated costs, resources and number of projects and synchronize these with the set capacity limits

The following capacity limits can be set on a monthly basis per portfolio:

  • Maximum number of concurrent projects and demands that can be entered in the portfolio
  • Budget limits for the portfolio
  • Resource capacity - this can be entered manually or automatically calculated by the resource pools assigned to the portfolio
