Powder Software simplifies two very important aspects of data management for DBA's and business professionals working with Oracle databases. Our two primary products, Safeguard and Pinpoint, are designed to turn the previously thought of as difficult functions of Query and Backup/Recovery into easily manageable and viewable operations.

Because our company started out as a training provider, we talked with literally thousands of students before turning our focus to development. In over ten years in training, we heard consistently of the same problems and concerns. DBA'a wanted better tools to manage multiple databases, and business professionals wanted access an Oracle database in a way that was manageable for them. Our products were developed to solve these problems for users.

Established in 1998, we are based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We are very near to Banff, renowned worldwide for the skiing conditions. If you're wondering where the name 'Powder Software' came from, we are named after the pristine untracked snow of the early morning referred to as powder, highly valued and sought after by skiers.
