Corporate-Social Responsibility The Smartsource Group has been actively working with Habitat for Humanity in recent years.

Recently, the Smartsource team assisted in the building of a family’s home, through a Habitat for Humanity initiative.

At Smartsource, we’re actively involved in the formulation of successful learnerships and privately sponsored job creation initiatives that focus on effecting a change in the inequality persistent within the ICT sector.

In addition to its bursaries, Smartsource focuses on the development and effective implementation of learnerships for PDI’s (Previously Disadvantaged Individuals) - specifically within the ICT sector. The programme consists of selecting partners & positions that need to be filled at local companies, and selecting PDI’s to fill the positions. Candidates are trained in the life-skills required to qualify them for the position; and which facilitates smooth integration of the candidates into their new work environment.
